Chapter Seven

Bull almost couldn’t wait for Friday to roll around. He couldn’t remember the last time six days had crawled along so slowly but as he stood in his apartment waiting for Zander to pick him up, the nerves came out in full force. By the time the Dom knocked on his door, he was as twitchy as a ferret. He opened the door and was blown away by how hot Zander looked. He was dressed casually again, wearing a pair of dark blue jeans and a black T-shirt, covered by a black leather jacket and smelled so good, Bull found himself sniffing the air. He was smiling at Bull and his dimples were on prominent display.

“Hi.” His voice was low and ever so sexy. “You ready?”

Bull stepped back. “I’m ready. Do you want to come in first?”

Zander stayed rooted in place, shaking his head. “If I do that, we’re not going to leave again until morning, Bull, and as much as I want that, I promised to feed you and take you out to see some guns and car chases.”

Bull chuckled as he stepped out into the hall, pulling the door closed behind him. “Okay. That sounds great.” Just knowing what Zander was thinking was sending a rush of arousal through his veins.

They took a cab to the Bubba Gump’s Shrimp restaurant about ten minutes from Bull’s house and Zander took his hand after paying the driver, walking into the great smelling place. They were seated after about a short fifteen-minute wait, and once again, Bull was amused by how much food Zander could put away. He absolutely loved watching the man eat.

The dinner conversation was fun. Zander was in a light-hearted mood in the restaurant and Bull just sat back and enjoyed it. They were there about an hour and then paid the bill, deciding that the two block walk to the theater would be fun. Once again, as soon as they were outside, Zander unashamedly took Bull’s hand. It was strangely freeing to be able to do that out in the open the way they were but Bull tried not to let the few people who stared at them strangely get under his skin. Most people saw them walking along and smiled, letting their eyes linger on Zander as they did. He was a remarkably stunning man and the fact that he was laughing and talking happily with Bull as he held his hand, was a source of the most immense pride Bull had ever felt. He was proud to be out with his Dom and Zander was holding his hand for all the world to see.

They decided to see Hardcore Henry, a sci-fi thriller with a ton of action. They sat side by side in the packed theater holding hands as the action played out on the screen.
